In today’s episode, Konstantin Starodetskii interviews screenwriter, producer, and WGA member, Richard Hatem.
Richard is currently an Executive Producer on HBO Max’s show Titans. He co-created the TV series Miracles and The Gates for ABC. Mr. Hatem has also written/produced episodes for shows such as Supernatural, Grimm, The Dead Zone, Witches of East End, Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, and many, MANY more.
His feature film credits include Under Siege 2: Dark Territory and The Mothman Prophecies. In addition, he is a contributing author to Inside the Room: Writing Television with the pros at UCLA Extension Writers’ Program.
In this conversation Richard Hatem shares his passion for writing, love for TV, and priceless career advice for anyone who wants to become a professional writer in the entertainment industry.
They chat about Richard’s career milestones, the importance of loving your craft, and the future of television. From being a teenager with a great desire to write, Richard shares his journey to becoming one of the main writers on the Warner Brother’s show Titans.
